Cristina Vidal Cristina is an urban planner and local development specialist with 15 years of experience working with international cooperation, the non-governmental sector, and academia, directly with the public sector, the business community, and civil society actors.
Her areas of specialization include urban territorial dynamics, urban planning, historic center revitalization, public space design and management, and territorial economic development.
Cristina has expertise in participatory strategic planning, academic research, capacity building, and university teaching, promoting an integrated approach to territorial development and knowledge generation. She has provided technical assistance to the municipalities of San Salvador, San Miguel, and Santa Ana in their historic center revitalization processes, coordinating project implementation, stakeholder engagement, and the design and execution of physical interventions and cultural activities.
